Ecoembes, Ecovidrio, Aragón Government and CIRCE launch, for the seventh consecutive year, this specialized training of 50 hours, to which it is already possible to pre-register
Leading professionals in the sector will present all the details of the value chain of the management of this type of waste
Ecoembes, Ecovidrio, the Government of Aragon and CIRCE launch a new edition of the already consolidated course of integral management of packaging waste, which is now in its seventh edition. The training, free of charge and face-to-face, will begin on September 16 and end on November 7 and will be held two afternoons a week at the CIRCE facilities in Zaragoza (Dinamiza Business Park, 3D, 1st floor).
The 50-hour program will bring together all the technical, environmental, economic and social aspects that surround the sector, from the regulatory framework to the role of citizens in selective collection. The pre-registration period has already been opened and can be done until September 5 through the CIRCE website at www.fcirce.es/cursoresiduos.
The joint participation of different agents involved in this sector has made it possible to combine in a single course the details of the process of selective collection of packaging waste. From the public administration, represented by the General Directorate of Sustainability of the Department of Rural Development and Sustainability of the Government of Aragon to a research center (CIRCE), through two organizations specializing in waste management (Ecoembes, the environmental organization that manages the recycling of containers that are deposited in yellow and blue containers throughout Spain, and Ecovidrio).
The course is aimed at professionals with experience in companies and public administrations who wish to expand their knowledge in the integral waste management system, to university students or researchers, to professionals in the sector, professors, unemployed and all those who want to acquire knowledge in this field.
Students who pass the course will receive a diploma accrediting the completion of the course, issued by CIRCE. Over these six years, more than 250 students have participated in this course, which is being updated in each edition to adapt to the evolution of the sector. The financing of this course is possible thanks to the funds provided in the Framework Agreements between Ecoembes and Ecovidrio with the Government of Aragon respectively, and therefore is one of the development actions of the mentioned agreements. As a deposit, the selected students must pay 50 euros as a commitment to attend the course, which will be reimbursed after passing it. Likewise, this course is one of the training actions planned in the 2018-2022 GIRA Plan.
