ENERGY SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY

SOCIETY PLAYS A CRUCIAL ROLE IN DRIVING THE TRANSITION TOWARDS A MORE SUSTAINABLE ENERGY MODEL

The new energy model places users in a much more important position, which makes it crucial to raise awareness regarding energy and the environment.

This is why we at CIRCE are conducting several lines of research and activities to familiarize society with these concepts, which can seem so irrelevant in people’s everyday lives. Ultimately, the goal is to encourage a more sustainable behaviour and foster changes in consumer habits, by making users fully aware of the environmental impact they can cause and teaching them how to prevent it.

We are also exploring ways to make energy efficiency more accessible to users by helping all kinds of families and groups, especially the underprivileged.

TECHNOLOGICAL CAPABILITIES

  • Socio-economic studies on energy and sustainability

We analyse the social and economic impact of energy efficiency-related projects to ensure a given investment is viable. We advise clients regarding R&D&I, regulations, energy and environmental planning, and legal aspects relating to the sector.

  • Energy poverty

We conduct domestic energy vulnerability studies covering everything from technical to socio-economic factors in order to thoroughly appraise situations of poverty and consider potential measures to mitigate them.
