CIRCE participates in a seminar of the EIT RawMaterials association during the Euro PM2018 congress, which will be held next week in Bilbao

CIRCE will be one of the speakers at the next seminar of the EIT RAW Materials association, “Competitiveness and Sustainability in the Powder Metallurgy Industry”. The event will take place within the framework of the Euro PM2018 International Congress, which is organized annually by the European Powder Metallurgy Association. This time it will be the city of Bilbao that hosts the event, from October 14 to 18.

Within this congress, a worldwide reference within the metallurgical sector, the seminar in which CIRCE will participate will be held on Wednesday 17, and will be focused on the critical and strategic materials used in the field of powder metallurgy. The presentation of CIRCE, under the title of “Criticality and Thermodynamics of dust production”, will introduce a methodology for analyzing the criticality of the elements, based on the use of thermodynamics, which integrates the energy costs of material production advanced.

The event will serve as a forum for the exchange of knowledge between experts from other specialist centers in these areas such as VTT, Tecnalia or Fraunhoffer, among others.
