At CIRCE, we place all our expertise and know-how at the disposal of public administrations, helping public institutions in every area linked to energy and environmental matters, as well as bolstering their role as drivers of innovation through public contracting.
We lend our support and advice to draw up sustainable development strategies covering a range of fields such as renewables, energy efficiency and mobility. We can also help public bodies to adapt their regulations to the latest sector policies.
Our collaboration with public administrations also covers many other aspects, from dissemination to training.
At CIRCE, we encourage public administrations and institutions to take part in international research projects. These programmes offer them the funding they need to deploy their sustainability plans, as well as putting their municipalities and areas on the R&D&I map.

Sustainable urban mobility in Malaga
We have been working in collaboration with the Port of Malaga to draw up an urban mobility action plan that takes into account the city’s special condition as a cruise destination with mass influxes of tourists. The idea was to define a plan that could be replicated in other port cities.
Energy refurbishment for buildings in Zaragoza
We have developed a special package of energy refurbishment measures that are currently being tested in a building in Zaragoza for subsequent replication in other buildings in Rome and Salford. These new solutions feature ICTs, innovative façades and renewable air-conditioning systems.
Bioeconomy in the region of Andalusia
We are coordinating a project to support the Andalusian Government in overcoming the barriers that prevent it from deploying a biobased economy. These measures will then be exported to ten other regions to promote the bioeconomy across Europe.
