CIRCE HAS A DEPARTMENT THAT SPECIALIZES IN APPLYING FOR R&D&I CALLS WITHIN THE EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK

Our team comprises professionals who specialize in:

  • Preparing full H2020 proposals.
  • Managing the technical and administrative aspects of H2020 financed projects.
  • Positioning on the major European platforms, associations and fora linked to energy and the environment.

As a result, CIRCE is able to provide a comprehensive service for institutions or firms wishing to apply for such funding, whether or not they have prior experience, and guide them through their European venture.

    PRESENCE ON
    EUROPEAN PLATFORMS

CIRCE has an enterprising spirit that has led it to enter the main European associations in the energy sector. CIRCE plays a very active role in these fora – so much so that it is the founder of one of the associations: SPIRE, the European energy-intensive industry association.

This affords us an excellent vantage point to gain first-hand insight regarding the sector’s trends and evolution, as well as investing our highly innovative know-how in developing initiatives that meet EU requirements and needs.

    Great involvement in Horizon 2020

At CIRCE, we coordinate the submission of roughly 10 project proposals every year and take part in some 50 altogether, which involves approximately €250 m including all our partners, to help them finance their R&D&I and internationalize their work.

A variety of topics linked to energy and the environment

From geothermal production in Iceland to the major refineries in Turkey, a Martini distillery in Italy and a residential estate in Belgium, our projects travel beyond borders to make a more sustainable Europe.

International macro-project in industrial energy efficiency

CIRCE has successfully developed a complex project involving 19 partners and a budget of over €18 m affecting five industrial plants to represent the energy-intensive industries with the highest impact in Europe.
